I have the same issue and I am unable to get it resolved. It seems like this is Microsoft's issue to resolve. Why should we have to use a different browser?

I have tried everything I believe. I do not see any updates for Internet Explorer. Do you? I will have to do a Google search of IE updates concerning HLS (HTTP LIVE STREAMING) and see if anything comes up. Let me know how you make out please.
I might mention that I purchased a Google Chrome Book which always has the most recent Chrome browser and the TV program runs fine. Chrome has HLS. You know the technology don't you? The Chrome Book does not have an operating system (or browser) installed on the computer. The operating system is in the cloud.
